What can you study in New Zealand?

Study pathways for different goals

New Zealand offers English-language courses, secondary education, vocational qualifications, university degrees and postgraduate programmes. The right route depends on your current level, budget, timetable and long-term objective.

• General English and examination preparation.
• Secondary school and academic preparation.
• Certificates, diplomas and vocational programmes.
• Bachelor’s degrees, postgraduate study and master’s programmes.

Compare the programme, not only the title

Entry requirements, qualification level, provider accreditation, location and progression options can differ considerably. Work rights also depend on the programme and the visa conditions in force, so they must be checked before enrolment.
